DIY eveything!

Does it still count towards my sewing goal if I sew but I have to trash it cuz it sucks? I say yes. So my count has gone up by 2. I really suck I guess... I can not master this halter top yet. It is making me ANGRY!

Have no fear I have about 20 shirts left... at some point I will get something right.

Here is my update on projects!

Well I have been busy making hair stuff and a few other crafts. I have put tons of hair bows up in my Etsy shop! Make sure to go check them all out!

I always have TONS of bows made but decided as a part of my 2011 goals I should post them on Etsy! I am also crossing my fingers that I will be able to open my 2nd Etsy shop full of upcycled crafts!

It's been a while and I promised to blog more this year! So I just wanted to give a little update...

and to tell people that I do not count my hair accessories, bows, flowers, and clips as crafts on my counting list. I make at least 30 a week! This week I made about 200! WOAH!

I did get anew apron done though so I will post that! I also made 2 little displays for my earnings which are amazing! I will post both my cool displays and earrings soon! Until then here is my new apron and counter thingys!

Here are the 2 aprons I made that I promised to post. Even though no one reads my blog someday people will! Both aprons are available in my Etsy right now!!

The first is zebra.. everyone loves zebra print!!

Next up is this HOT PINK apron that has some super cool embroidery! It has a spoon, spatula, and whisk! I LOVE the way it came out.. perfect for baking and cooking!



I have finished 1 apron and have 2 more almost done but again that will be posted another day!

So... as all of you should know I am a member of attackofthecraft.com The most awesome DIY forum around. I mean there are tons of awesome people in there full of advise and lots of stuff you want to spend all the money you don't have on!

Once a month we do swaps.. they have a theme and you craft something awesome for the person you are assigned and mail them a special gift! When your comes it's like Christmas to see your totally awesome stuff! Jans theme was upcycled!

I made my partner a few things but I am showing off 2 of them! The 1st is this awesome apron. I made it out of a pillowcase! Cute right?!

Next was this bowl! I love it.. I think I might start selling them. It started as a wood bowl from the thrift store. Here is the before and after!


I covered it with pages from a Star Wars book!

I also finished 2 aprons last night but I will post them another day! Here is my update for my crafty and sewing count! It does count the aprons I will post later!

I thought I would show off something great today. I got my Angry Girl Gear corset today. To see it on a hot model or to buy your own click here!

I love the corset. It is made so well I don't think it will fall apart anytime soon! The lines are straight and perfect! I was only a little sad because it wasn't as long as I asked and for that reason I can't move in it often without showing my gut to everyone. :( But my friend won the contest that I made him enter and it was free! So hell yea! Beautiful clothing for free!!

Also I thought I would say that my goal for 2010 is more DIY stuff. I want to make 1 sewed items and week and 1 crafted item a week! That is 52 of each.. here are some cute little buttons to show you where I am at right now!




So I would recommend buying Angry Girl Gear!! I also need to get some more sewing and crafting done!

Whew I have been busy.. not crafting though :( Well that is sort of a lie.. I make about 25 hair flowers a week. Just busy with normal life.

Weekends I am at the SwapSmart! This passed Sat I got off and tried on dresses for my sisters wedding for 2 hours! We did pick one and it is very pretty. Mine is ordered and now I need some red shoes!

Though after putting half down on my dress I am poor! :(

Starting now I will be watching my friends daughter while shes at work along with my son. She's going to be 5 soon so thats cool.
