Coupons.. they really do help!

I posted about coupons here before because it seems like coupons fit great with a DIY life! I need to get some pictures of my awesome coupon folder! Also of some of the awesome stuff I score for cheap or free!
Since I am a SAHM and just work on Etsy I don't tend to always make tooo much money. My husband works full time but doesn't make great money. We barely scrape by! We used to grocery shop 1 time a month and would spend about $250. We would have to make a few more trips in between for small stuff like milk and fresh fruit or veggies. By the end of the month we were spending about $300 a month to feed a family of 3.
Since I started using coupons I have cut our grocery bill down to $160 a month! Plus we have started a mini stockpile! It's nothing like the crazy stuff you see on TV. No way!
I will get pictures of my normal looking stock pile soon!
Any ways I was tracking how much money I saved in July and I saved over $800! That is awesome I say. This new coupon thing is awesome. At the end of the month we still have food to eat ant it has allowed us to restructure our budget and save more money! I hope to pay off some debt soon!
So here is what I have to say.. I am the most unorganized person ever. I somehow manage to cut coupons and organize them and plan awesome shopping trip and save more than $800 a month!
I have been sewin and crafting like CRAZY. I will update on that stuff soon!

Worst Blogger ever!
Sorry I have been missing! I have been crazy busy! Me and my hubby went to Vegas 4 days and it was so fun! Nice to have a baby free trip! :) The trip back was another story though.. ugh!
I have gotten some sewing done! I do not however have any pictures of it at this moment! Sorry! I made a sweet bag for my mom for her bday. She loves it! :)
I also have made LOTS of hair bows, flowers,and earrings! I need to get to listing those soon!

Coupons
I know this is not a craft post but I figure it's closely related. I started watching Extreme Couponing.. (Man I am getting old) and I though.. wow.. I want free stuff!! In AZ it's much harder to get carts full of stuff for free since our stores limit items to 3. Still we can save some money though! We can still get some stuff for free or damn close to it!
I started this a few weeks ago but only got 3-4 things at a time. Today I went for a bigger trip! I looked at a website for some great deals.. It's a pretty awesome blog! http://www.savingcentswithsense.net
Then I got all my coupons organized and headed to the store. I looked at sales prices and then checked to see if I had coupons for it! It's pretty easy and I am famous for not being the most organized person you have ever met!
Some great deals I got today was 3 women's Suave deodorants for a total of $.18, 3 Degree deodorants for a total of $.75. Body wash for $.67 each. Mens Gillette body was for $1.50. $2.64 for shampoo and conditioner! Tabasco sauce for $.67 each! Hot Dogs were 4 packs for $.68! Thats good stuff right! I saved $50.00 today with coupons!
So I think if coupons is something you have thought of go head and try it! It's not that hard!

Sometimes there is just not enough time
in a day! Or maybe it's energy I need. My poor baby is sick. It breaks my heart! So night time comes form me to get to sewing or designing and I can't! I am just too sleepy! I need something to wake me up!
I have updated my crafting and sewing counters! :) Though I have been lazy I have gotten a few things done! I have been doing lots of embroidery! I sure needed to since I just spent lots of money getting stuff to make my machine work better!

I have been slacking on sewing and crafting... well other than lots of earrings and flowers and bows but I never count those!
